You want WHAT to paint the GFX and Stripes!?!
Dealer just called me to give me a quote on the cost of the GFX themselves, painting the GFX, and painting extended rally stripes...
Total: ALMOST $8000!  Obviously I told him to take a hike, I had a dealer back home offer to paint the GFX for free as long as we had the stripes painted at the dealer, but he's way back in NH and im here in AZ. this guy wanted $3000 for GFX and paint and then high $4000 for stripes. Dealer's gonna go back and "talk" with his aftermarket guy and see what they can do on the price. Am I over reacting or is this ridiculously high?

$3000 to buy, paint and mount the GFX is probably pretty close...
$4000 for the stripes... they better be DAMN good. I mean if I close my eyes and rub my finger over the stripe, I better not be able to tell where the stripe starts and stops. Thats how you tell a $4000 stripe job from a $1500 stripe job! Painting right is expensive. |

My stripes were $1200 and there is absolutely no transition line between the factory orange and the black stripe... a very very good job. They re-cleared the entire hood and trunk. Even mixed in some metallic flake to match the flake in the IOM.
