I found a 24 CE ZL1 in Canada that wasn't sold today as I was looking for a dealer that had a ZL1 allocation. The salesman said it's $114K MSRP. I thought about is for about 10 seconds and said sure, I'll give you my CC right now for a deposit as it was apparently at 3800 status. He said he would run it by the manager. He comes back all apologetic and says sorry, they won't sell THIS car for MSRP. I said OK, what do you want for it? He said make us an offer. OK, $119K, 5K over MSRP. Salesman says OK, I'm sure he will sell it for that. Comes back and said sorry, he won't sell it for that. I said well how much do you want for the car? He says just make us a better offer. I said call me back when you can figure out how much you will sell the car for. If I haven't already found another one I might buy it.

I had a 23 on order since November but it didn't get picked up. I reordered the same car the day we could put orders in for 24's and ordered the same thing through 3 other dealerships. I'm getting pretty skeptical that I am ever going to get a 24 ZL1 at this rate.
I'd probably take the CE if I had a firm price, but it will be at least $40K more than the 23 I had ordered ($85K vs $125K?+). Seems like a lot for black paint and badges but there is only 50 being sold in Canada so it might be worth it?

All, I have money down on a ZL1 CE with a TPW stated as the week of October 16th. However, I read in another thread that all of the ZL1's were being run in one group so that has me a bit concerned. Can anyone confirm plans or does anyone have a TPW later in the year? Thanks!
I also already know that there will be a $25k market adjustment added to the price at my dealer once I have it so I expect final price to be in the ballpark of $119k after building it online.... it is certainly an investment....

When did you get your order accepted?
It was my contact that said they were running the zl1 CEs last week. It’s possible they didn’t batch all 350 and the run 2 batches. Would make sense with the other two vehicles ran on that shared line
He did state this morning stating, CEs are going well. Implying they are running a decent number in the mix.

My dad has a TPW of 10/23. We’re both hoping it’s produced sooner but with the potential strike, we doubt it. I know 5 CE ZL1 were built this week.

It was "accepted" on 6/22 and then went to 3000 status 6/27 and was given a TPW on 6/30.

Check out the Chevy 24 build site and semi build a ZL1 and hit summary. Then check inventory. I found a ZL1 CE for 98K non 1LE.

I agree. I finally got a straight answer out of the sales guy. I put a deposit down and got a temporary bill of sale for it. $124 Cdn, plus taxes. I thought he said it was at 3800 status but it's at 3400 status. Hopefully it will arrive before the snow does. Super pumped to actually get one of the 50 CE's outside the US. I never thought I'd get one and would have been totally happy with a vivid orange non-CE ZL1.
