If your car is just a car, then trade it in. But if your used to stepping on the gas and the car taking off, you have to stay with the SS. I know many people have said vinyl wrap or paint it, why not set up for car with a set of green stripes? There is a bunch of different stripe patterns/ packages that you could experiment with. I think the green would really pop off your car.
I've wanted to pick up another hood and trunk (I have another spoiler already) to get stripes painted on. Part of me wants to get the 45th stripes painted on but what I really want is to get a set of blue metallic stripes. I think it would really stand out on the car. |

Do what you want to do, whatever makes you happy. You got yourself into this situation, you have to figure your way out. Just like others who have come on here and posted the same thing "I bought this, now I want that!! How do I get out of this?"
It sounds like you REALLY wanted the Synergy Green, and until you get it, you probably will not be happy. Pull the trigger and move on.

I couldn't see the benefit of going from an 8 to a 6 unless it were for better gas mileage and commuting purposes. The camaro v8 is such a great engine, in that there's no way I'd even want to downgrade.

if it is possible go rent a v6 Camaro like you want to buy, drive it for a week, and see if that's what you really want.

Well...I can't argue with the OP for wanting a color really badly.
You all might think I'm crazy or whatever, but I'm serious as all heck when I say I'd never trade my ABM V6 Camaro for any other color SS even if it was a straight up trade and the SS had low mileage like mine and was in good shape. The color is just too awesome, too rare, and I still get compliments to this day like its a brand new car. Now, trading for an SS in ABM would be a different story! (or a hotwheels version) The one issue I have with this is that the V6 Synergy costs just as much as his V8 does. It seems to me, that the V8 should still be worth a bit more, but then again I don't know what the mileage is on both cars, or what kind of shape they are in. If the Synergy only has 10K miles and the OP V8 has 50K then I guess they might be pretty close in price. If he really doesn't care about power, or sound, then the V6 with the color he really desires makes sense. Is this common for most people? No, but maybe it works for him. Otherwise if power/sound is a concern of his, then I'd say he had better stick with that V8. Good luck OP. Lots of people here don't know how to lend advice, and rather they spout their own opinions on you, and your just crazy if you don't agree with them.

Don't do it, OP. Cyber Grey is a beautiful color and you are used to the V8. You'll be sorry you traded it just to get Green.
