Hey Everyone!

I was wondering how many of you in the Bay Area are interested in getting together on a Sunday morning for go karting at K1 Speed in Santa Clara on Febuary 5th @ 1p.

We also want to talk about and plan what we want to do in the coming months.

This is a family event so feel free to bring out the spouse and kids!!

We're working with the company to see what kind of deal we can get for everyone but need to give them a approximate number of how many drivers to expect.

Weather permitting, we're also hoping to cruise to a place for lunch (yet to be determined)

We're are planning to be at the K1 Speed gokarting place @ 10a on 2/5, a sunday morning, be there about 1-1.5 hours, then cruise over to a restaurant for lunch.

I'm game - with my usual crew of 4 to 6 folks

Maybe this time we can practice a slow cruise in which we're all not racing ALL the time? But then, of course, it depends on the numbers

Josh: when are we going to get that email list going?

We talked about this during the first cruise, but we should have different groups for those who are looking to have a spirited run vs a cruise.

As for the email list once we get things nailed down with exact dates times, prices, the emails will start going out. Expect to see something within a week or so.

Don't get me wrong - I don't mind a spirited run. It's doing the spirited run all the time and not keeping the pack together that I believe we need to improve on. We did much better the second time around (in January).

Also, if our numbers are small, breaking up into groups would be lame - 5 cars cruising together rather than the entire pack of 20 to 30? I prefer the entire pack

Anyway - just my 2 cents ...

I agree with you on that; for the restaurant we go to it wont be through a fun road or anything so we'll literally be cruising to the spot via city streets or some highway driving.

I'm guessing under $40 per person, if we can get 10 or 15 drivers; price will go down considerably.
