On the picture of the door, the button we had speculated as being a possible "fuel door release" button is actually ON the door. If not for the fuel door what else could it be for? Trunk release??

Also, maybe the lock/unlock buttons under the flashers button could possibly be a positraction rearend??

A few things. Most modern cars have trunk mounted batteries, so no surprise there. I love the central door unlock button. Just makes sense that way. Power mirrors, check. The box above the mirror might be some kind of home-link, like programmable buttons to open garages, gates, etc. Key looks to be a switchblade style like VW. Nice classy touch I think. The vent knobs don't look tacked on to me, but that's just my opinion. They could be better, but they aint bad.

I just don't believe that GM is gonna put 370 lb-ft. torque in a V6.

Wow, love the gauges and the engine cover...hoping all the engines come standard with one.

Not too sure about the long row of buttons for the radio, but no way that'd stop me from buying one.

Absolutely adoring it so far, just hoping/praying that the concept's shifter will at least be available aftermarket, if not stock.

Everything looks pretty good so far....but my not sure of the headlights. Why didn't they leave the single headlight like the concept. Mustang and challenger (sorry) have them?

I've no doubt we'll see the single headlight (just check the pictures from LAX from an earlier post). The headlights in this pic were probably what Mr. Settlemire was referring to when he talked about running down the hardware store for some temporary lights.

The only question is will the lights be halo or just normal like the current Mustang's.

I hope that they resize that "box" above the rearview mirror as well. I believe that the button on the door is a trunk release and not a fuel door release. I also doubt that the button between the HVAC is a posi on/off. The 370 torque sounds right on the V-6 if it's the 3.6 DI. I'm still up in the air about the radio and I love the way dash looks at night. The info screen looks very trick. I still hope that they open the vents on the V8. The headlights look like the halo's to me, but what is that light above and to the right? looks cheap. The battery must be in the back it looks tight with the 6 with the 8 I don't see where it will fit. Great pics please continue to fuel the fire.

The Mustang GT makes 320 ft lbs of torque with its V8, your Impala makes either 205 or 225 ft lbs with its V6. Most cars with a V6 have 200 - 250 ft lbs of torque, and V8's typically have more than 300, there is no real range.

I think it should be noted that it is extremely unlikely that there will be a 370 ft lb V6, its just way too high.
