Advantage ZL1 for sure

But its already been shown that the V6 can run into the 11s with a 125 shot, slicks out back, skinnies up front and not even full bolt ons.

So yes a V6 with less than a 200 shot CAN beat a ZL1 at the strip. But if I was forced to lay down a large sum of cash on one head to head match up, I'd probably have to go with the ZL1....

....unless maybe Rich was driving his V6 lol.

120 shot is doable as we've seen. But 200 shot IMO is pushing the engine without some reinforcement. But looking at what Derrick has posted and I agree we everyone also that 200 shot isn't needed.

F&F FTW baby lol. Part 6 soon!!!

If I could watch this race, I would put equal money on the ZL1 winning and on the poor LLT grenading a piston or some other catastrophic failure.

Also going to depend on the ZL1's driver... I actually ran a ZL1 last year with my Flex... I watched him run 13's and 14's all day... I tried to line up against him all day, but he would only line up against his buddy in the Mustang. Finally at the end of the day I managed to get lined up with him.... of course he finally runs like a 12.5!!! LOL! I did almost beat him to the 1/8th though!

ZL1 on street tires at a test & tune, on a poorly prepped track... makes it very tough to get a good launch in a ZL1..

Derrik for you anything you want just let me know when what and were.

However The world I live in I have not seen any advantage to any other bolt ons other then CAI please dont flame me this is what I have seen on the race track and all my NA times are posted in the fast list for all to see.

Also I dont think you need a 200 shot I think 150 progressive shot or a two stage should do the trick.

Well, there you go. Can't think of any one that would know better than Rich.

As for the bolded part, I hope this year at CFest we both have better luck than last year. BTW, working on something that if all goes well could be adapted for you nitrous guys. Check it out.

If the engine didn't explode then yes lol. One big advantage people neglect when it comes to nitrous is it adds a negligible amount of weight to the car. Turbos/SC add weight. 150 shot should allow a V6 to knock out a ZL1 and I think the engine might actually survive. 125 got us to a 11.8 so a 150 could pull a 11.6ish.
