I've accepted the fact that it's on its way. 2012? Maybe (if GM doesn't go bankrupt when the Volt doesn't sell). But there have been press releases for over a year now saying the Z/28 will use the same drivetrain as the CTS-V and it's only a matter of time until they start pumping them out of the assembly line.

Very good read and I don't think there was anything that was surprising written ... it will be interesting to see what happens when the Z/28 is out ... if they keep the same gearing, I dont' think they will hit the same wall, but you got to admit, we are in an overdrive gear by 5th gear ....

Wow. It was an interesting read, that's all. I agree that a GT vs an SS would be interesting but I think the purpose of this was to simply see what the two to muscle cars from each manufacturer could do when unleashed. Lighten up a little. You'll have more fun.
Not everything has to become a Camaro/Mustang battle. Both cars are great.
