Not true.
Sorry. CAFE is making it VERY HARD to justify what we'd planned. You might want to write to your elected officials and tell 'em what you think about CAFE........ |

As much as I'd like to do that, I don't think that's going to do a bit of good. Liberals in congress are all convinced that the public wants fuel efficient eco-boxes. They'll consider our group a minority. It's a shame. Government should have no place to regulate a market driven industry like this. Safety is one thing, but something like this; heck no! If people want fuel efficient cars, it would be in GM's best interest to supply these cars to meet demand. However I don't think they should be punished when they want to build a low volume niche car such as this. Odds are you're not going to see 100,000 Z-28 units sold a year.

I've never been so happy and then so sick to my stomach in one thread in my life....
A definitive answer sure would be nice....

It seemed more logical to me for them to possibly put an LSA into it. It'd be great to see a GT500 fighter. Or killer in this case. But I couldn't afford it anyway.

1. that the z28 is dead. 2. That the supercharged z28 is dead. and plan B could be implemented I'm going to pray it's the second one. and let me say plan B could be just about anything. my personal fav is race tuned suspension with double adjustable shocks hot cam in the ls3. lighter materials used through out. but oh well all I can do is write my congressman and keep the faith. |

He didn't say it's not going to happen, whatever it is... yet... They can take their CAFE an stick it up their tailpipes. Do you think I could actually send that to them?
