Wipers
I think this might be the beast place to ask this. I have a 12 2lt rs, bought it used w/ 18k. one thing i have noticed Is my wiper blades Rock!. But im not sure if they are factory. they seem to came a black cover of sorts over them. when it come time to replace them I will purchase the same ones. Does anyone have any comments on wiper blades?
Any help would be appreciated.. thx |

Does it look solid over the arms? Then that's stock and yes I've had mine for 4 years through every weather condition and still don't need to replace them

Just replaced my originals last week. Originals were just over 3 years old. I replaced with michelin ones.

I replaced my originals with Bosch ones. As soon as those are bad, I'm buying stock ones again.

Yes they have a sort of cosmetic cover over them... kind of like the Michelin stealth ultra..whatever they are they are the best blades I have ever had. Gratz to Gm I'm thinking

Yep stock ones. And yeah they are great. I had a friend drive us back from a 2 hour trip once, I fell asleep while it was raining, I woke up like 45 minutes later no rain and he still had the wipers on. He didn't even notice, he thought they were awesome.

Only replacing mine with the GM ones, they seem to be better than any other I have used on cars in the past.

Tip for getting most from wipers - periodically clean them with rubbing alcohol till the pad comes a way clean. Just look for tears or cracks. Replace when that happens.

Funny, I just mentioned these the other day to someone... Definitely the best I've had on a car so far. I'm going back to the Chevy parts department to get them when they need to be replaced.
