Yea, I'm a little confused too..why does it look like I disqualified on each of my runs? I know for a fact the last run I hit every gate. I even heard it on the radio in Eric's video??? But damn, I was slow :(

I don't dispute the results. Just surprised I'm 5th, figured I'd be last. Well I guess I am last out of the 5 in NFS class. I thought there were like 8 of us in NFS?

Yes, PJ's 240SX is in my class. It trashed his transmission on the 4th run.

The color of his car in registration is "engine eating white Krylon spraypaint rattlecan" or something like that.. LOL

Sorry.. I was away for dinner with the wife. I'll gather the #'s and make them equal.

The Novices and other classes get what they call a PAX applied to them for the final result #. It's based on class, car type, and some other crap that I don't agree with. If you lok where I fall, I beat half the field and wind up pretty far down when they apply the handicap.

Axware should have the raw results which is what we want so the #'s for everyone are on the same playing field.

I'll get working on them and post them shortly.

Times are RAW.. so everyone is equal.
no adjustment in the #'s.

2nd place: chevy3
3rd place: Carlo (I don't know his screen name)

Nick and Larry, next time we do this I'll help you get through the course to get completed runs. It was not an easy course for a novice. You needed to have an instructor ride with you to identify where you went off course.

But 600, I did have an instructor with me each time for all three of my runs. The first one, at 101 seconds, I could not have missed a gate I took it so slow. The second one, I know the gate I missed, and the instructor pointed it out (it was the first gate after the first slalom - I saw a bunch of folks miss that one while working the course). The third one, you can even hear the announcer in Eric's video "71.392, clean and on course..." I take that to mean that I didn't miss a gate? And my instructor said I hit all the gates. Is it because I had to leave and I didn't do all the runs? They have a result posted for a fourth run, but I didn't even do a forth run.

I know I drove it slow, but if "+ DSQ" mean I disqualified, I don't understand why. I look at it as a learning experience, and I want to know what I did wrong so I don't do it again, but I don't think it was because I missed a gate...?

EDIT - wow...aside from the Jr. Karts, I had the worst times...man, I drive like a wimp! Remind me to thank my mom for all of those driving lessons she gave me as a kid.

Don't feel bad Molloni. I ended up dead last in the field. I missed gates in all 6 runs. LOL. And I had an instructor with me on run 5, he was holding on for dear life.

Milloni I think you were DQ because you didnt finish the rest of the runs because you had to leave early. I was moving my car over to the car show area and the lady asked if I was leaving. I told her no and I would be back shortly, she then told me if other people dont come back to finish their runs they would be DQ, but by that time you had already left.

It was tricky stuff, but I have some ideas for next time to know the course better during the walk through...

I think you're right Carlo - so that makes me feel better. Picking up third, I bet that makes you glad you came

It still was a freakin' awesome time! I really can't wait to do this again.

Nick, They probably marked you as DSQ (disqualified) because you left early. (missed work assignment)

If you miss a cone or gate on the course, they mark it DNF (did not finish)

You had fun and that's all that matters... next time you will do better, i'm sure.

BTW, next event is OCT 10th. Happens to be the same day as the New England Dragway meet. I'm going autocrossing.. the last points meet.
