My check engine light cleared itself!

Has anyone elses check engine light clear itself? My check engine light has popped up a couple of times since i did long tubes, High flow cats and full exhaust with cam. The first two times i checked it, and cleared it with my handheld tuner. The code read engine misfire each time. Anyway, the last time it popped up again, i just kept driving with it on. It stayed that way for over a week, but today when i started the car to go to work, the check engine light stayed off. Does anyone know if the cel clears itself on it's own?

Doesn't mean it will stay gone for good. There is a chance it will come back.

It will come back. The only way to lose the codes for good is with a tune. Talk to Ted at Jannetty.

Ted contacted me and is sending me a download for my flash tuner. It was a simple problem with a quick fix. Jannetty Racing rocks! Ted's customer service is second to none, and i highly recommend going to them no matter how far away you are, well worth it!
