Need some help. Will these fit on a v6, and will there be a benefit? Thanks

Wouldnt be to much of a improvement going from fe2 (v6) to fe3 (2010-2011 v8) what you should be looking for is fe4 and up swap if your wanting to go factory upgrades

I thought I read somewhere that swapping the V6 and SS springs would offer about 1/2" drop. Feel free to chime in if anyone knows true or false

Is it necessary to change struts/shocks too. I got a hook on a set of springs from a local member already. Don't want to take the car apart twice if I can help it

The springs will definitely change your ride height. As others have said, go for the 2012-2013 SS suspension for more of an upgrade

You can use your stock dampers, however it would be optimal to use the shocks/struts of an SS as well as they are dialed into the spring rates of the spring. It's not going to hurt anything, but the ride will be more bounce on the V6 dampers.

Best regards,

Installed a full FE3 suspension yesterday. I am liking it so far, can tell a difference with the stiffer springs and bigger sways. Unfortunately I snapped the threads on the driver strut by over tighening the top most nut so as of now i have FE2 front struts with FE3 springs and full FE3 set up on back. To anyone doing the swap be careful not to over torque the nuts on the front struts. The threads are designed to break away the top inch so if they fail it will still retain the spring with the bottom nut. Anyone have some FE3 front struts laying around they want to donate?
