preferred pricing

Tomorrow is the day!

I have one question though. I get the college rebate which gives me preferred pricing. When I check the price online it comes out to 35880, but they claim that the supplier pricing is a couple of hundred more. Is the homepage (https://www.exclusivegmoffer.com/ip-...do?program=cgp ) not correct?

I mean it is just $200 but that's still a lot of beer!

Simple. Ask to see the invoice. GM Preferred Pricing is on the mid right on the invoice and reads PREFER.

Looks like this:

That should erase any possibility of paying more than you should. By dealer agreement, there can be no mark up on Preferred Pricing, there also can be no discount except for GM factory incentives that you qualify for.

I've been wondering about this. Does that mean the GM employee pricing is non-negotiable? I've read a couple places that it is a set price, but I wasn't sure if it was negotiable or not. Just wondering because my father retired from GM and I would qualify.

Some places require nothing for preferred pricing...many in fact.

Correct. it's a set number, and non-negotiable. You should know however that employees get an extra $250 discount as of 04/01/10.

I've learned from the three dealers that I've been to, is if you have the time to sit there and 'bargain' you can definitely do better than preferred pricing.
