i put 1le in my car, they are diff bigger cv boots and spline have more contact. but stronger in the bar i dont think. ive took mine to the track 2 times with them but havent really put them to the test . if u can afford 1200 buck get the g force or dss. if not just buy a stock and replace and start saving

If you go with G-Force or DSS, you're getting a much better warranty. The quality of the aftermarket axle, far exceeds that of any stock axle. Think of it like this, the aftermarket axles were built with big power in mind, the stock axles have limits to them. I'm not sure if anyone has comparison pictures, but if you put the 1LE axles next to either a G-Force or DSS, you would easily see the difference.

The Gforce axles are expensive, but the lifetime warranty justifies the cost.

Same here. And I beat on mine every weekend at the track, cutting 1.49 60's.. Have well over 100 passes on the car. I figure its a matter of time and they will break..

If it's not broke don't fix it..

Agreed. A lot of the breakage, however, is due to driving mistakes. For example, I think a lot of cars break because of wheel hop. Wheel hop is preventable both with good parts (e.g. bushings and trailing arms), but also with good driving: e.g. DON'T STAY IN IT WHEN YOU'VE GOT BAD WHEEL HOP! Just ease back on the throttle and who cares if you lose the race. Live to fight another day, all that.

But an automatic is easier on the drivetrain than the manual. If you ever get a chance to see the aftermarket parts up close, either DSS or Gforce, you'll be impressed.

couldnt agree more, but it still happens, ive seen one not even move a inch and exploded the axel. but ive also seen them wheel hop to death and break. thta seems to happen more tho lol

I would hope I would be impressed for 7000.00, When I do upgrade it will be the Gforce, At least they spent time with a custom housing, DSS just uses the Old 9in housing. Both are still over priced. Trying to hold out in hopes they release the COPO Rear setup, Would rather have a straight axle.

I agree 100% about wheel hop. Subframe connectors rear trailing arms and bushings will pretty much eliminate that. It's not the HP that kills rears, it's the torque. I will throw my 2 cents DSS's way although I have no problem with g-force. Both are pretty much bulletproof.
