Resonator Delete
So, I have been trying to do some research on deleting my resonators. I have MRT v2 currently and want more sound. i find myself revving my engine at startup and around town to get more sound. Would deleting my resonators give me that? I am getting Doug Thorley shorties on soon and want to do the delete at the same time if I do it. Thanks!

Yes, res delete will help it a lot. I have a friend who got his resonators deleted with Magnaflow axle back, and it sounded WAY deeper, and louder. Now he's got some LT headers... and it's just amazing.
If I recall, little to no drone with the res delete. I would say it's worth doing for an axle back setup.

KMPrenger, I think I'm going to do it, so I'll post some vids when I do. Early March is my appointment time.

Here is a link to my vids, idk if you have watched them, but this is without the resonators. I have a crappy camera and it doesnt do it justice. Remember watch with headphones, you get better quality sound.

You can check the vids in my sig. No resonators since I had the entire piping swapped out for bigger 2.5" pipes when I added the LTs from ARH. But paired with the MRT 2.0s, I have gotten good reviews from plenty of people along with the "Damn your car is loud" LOL.

I cut the resonators out of my Magnaflow Cat-Back exhaust, and it is obnoxiously loud, especially when you put your foot in it! I love it. I have had some people comment that it sounds kind of "ricey" or "like a Honda Civic", but I don't pay that much attention because it's not like they have a Camaro to mod out! Definitely recommend this inexpensive mod for anyone looking to be LOUD and PROUD!

I was considering this myself but i was wondering what it would sound like with DT shorty headers, stock cats 2.5 inch no catted X pipe and custom made 2.5in piping back to Flowmaster AMT's without resonators... i dont know if it would be raspy and i dont really want a raspy sound........Any thoughts ? :P
And badgebunny your car sounds awesome, you really love your Camaro and its good to see women into it like us gearheads are :P
