I'm pretty sure it's already been said it's not keeping the ECU. Word is GM doesn't like it any more than the tuners do.

I think a lot of these companies have developed a relationship with ford over the past ten years while Chevy let the Camaro die. We are the new kids on the block nobody wants to play with right now.

Ok then maybe I am confusing something here. I admit I don't fully understand this computer stuff so.....

when people are talking about keeping the Bosch platform I thought that was the ECU. That is what is confusing me. Sorry if I have been misinforming.

They are keeping the Bosch platform. It's already in the 2012. That is the platform. Straight from the gm tech ay the dealer. CTS uses a different platform. They don't want to build a tune for same engines with different platforms. Not very cost effective.

It would still be worth it to me. If I traded in my 6 and wanted to buy an SS, I would lose at least 10K to the stealership. Some other guy mentioned trading in for an SS and he basically burned 12K.

O ya ,easy! Plus the money I would spend putting 900hp to the ground making it unstreetable , would be another 20k. I have no self control, or brains.... but I work enough OT to make it happen ,captain! Wife hates me..... such is life.

Correct.. just to add a bit more info.... "Tuner kit" means it does NOT come with the handheld tuner... it assumes that you already have one... and a lot of times "tuner kits' do not include injectors. This is why the "Tuner Kits' are cheaper...
