polishing exhaust tips

I've used NEVR DULL in the past, but I can't help but think that it caused some pitting on the inside of my tips. Can anyone suggest another cleaning method to get the black exhaust out of the inside of the tip? Thanks!

Simple green and elbow grease...

I've also been having really good results with just using my Meguiar's Gold car wash soap, and a microfiber scrubber... seems to be working damn well.

I've actually cleaned the inside of my tips as well.

- make sure they're cool to the touch
- mix a solution of water and 'Orange Blast' or 'Simple Green'
- spray inside of tips, using a soft wheel brush to clean

I don't do it often though...with the exhaust set up I have, they get black again pretty quickly.

I just wash the outside of mine with a mitt at the end of my Camaro's bath, and then make sure to dry them real good. If they start to tarnish...BRASSO! FTW
