How long from train pickup to dealer - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey,

My dealer told me that GM told him that my car is ready and just waiting for a train. Once picked up, how long can it take to get to me? I'm in St. Louis. Could it be a week or less?

I think theres a big rail yard near you. So I think a week is doable. It depends on lots of factors though, many of which are out of even GM's control.

My dealer told me that my car will end up in Chicago Heights via train and then trucked down here (150 miles south of Chicago)

mine was delivered to newjersey on thursday left canada on the 20th of may still no delivery to newyork my dealer is about 55 miles from the rail im looking for monday

i live in Northern CA. near Sac. and San Fran. and from the day it left on the transit rail until I recieved the car was almost 2 weeks. So I beleive 2 weeks is a good estimate/

I was told the lot has three days to get a car from there (lot) to the dealer. I talked to the trucking company (lot) and they are getting the Camaro's from point A to point B in about 24 hours. That's specific to the Arlington, Texas area... well, cars taking the train to Arlington and being delivered into the surrounding metroplex anyway.

I am hoping to get a rail number this week, (tomorrow.... hoping). I'm needing a ride bad!!!!!!. Headed to the store to get a new pair of shoes today.
