I already have a cam and bolt-ons done to my LS3, making ~460 rwhp. The LS7 will be installed with a moderate sized cam and bolt-ons along with milled heads, estimate it'll make around 550 rwhp. This 1LE is also my daily driver, driven about 35-40 miles a day.

That's great to know. A 40 pound weight reduction off the front end would be a very welcomed benefit. |

I'm all for N/A horsepower! The LS7 would be sick. If I were to go F/I, it'd be twin turbo. Way more horsepower, 'free' horsepower, and the added weight is all down low.

Decided to go with the LS7. Now if any of you good people would like to donate to my Go Fund Me account, that would be great!

Yeah, the LS7 is like 15-20k, plus all the labor. I love N/A horsepower but for that kind of cash I would just trade up to a ZL1, which are in the low to mid $40s now.

Stroke your LS3 to a 416/418 with good heads for cheaper than an LS7 and probably get to the same power without the LS7s valve problems. LS7s are way expensive.

Found a buyer for the LS3, so that is offsetting some of the expense. Plus I think it just sounds good to say, "It's a 427", or if I'm talking to some Europeans, "It's a 7 Litre V8."

Do you mind sharing what you are wanting to part with your LS3?

I meant, how much cash are you wanting to sell your LS3 for?
