GEN 5DIY ROCKS!
I installed my new NAV unit this morning in less than one hour. The DVD shows you how to install Mylink in a 2010 Camaro which gets pretty involved but it is much easier in a 2013. The unit works fantastic and the cables GEN5 DIY provided along with the unit fit perfectly.

Did mine on a 2011, and only problems I ran into were all my own stupidity but fixed. I could do this install again easily.

SO you have a 2013 MyLink and you swapped it for a MyLink w/ Nav unit? Sweet. So me the way....

I have a 2010 also. What happens with door locks?

I have also recently done the MyLink Upgrade/Retrofit to my 2010 Camaro 2LT/RS and I just programed the settings on the car to unlock both doors when the car was placed in Park and/or when the car is unlocked with the Key FOB.

Did you have to solder any wires or anything like that or was it just a plug and play? Also did you get a back up camera in this?

I want to add this to my 2010, but unless I get another door panel will the lock/unlock switch, I can only lock my car with the key/remote. I guess it's not that big of a deal

I have had the MyLink Retrofit in my Camaro now for a little over a month and I have had no issues or problems with being able to lock or unlock my doors. Before the install, I had the car setup to only unlock the drivers door when pushing the unlock button on the key fob, and also when the car is placed in park to unlock the drivers door. Since doing the install I changed the settings for the door locks to open/unlock both doors when the car is placed in Park and to unlock both doors when the unlock button is pushed on the key fob. Works fine, if I am picking up someone, I just place the car in Park, doors unlock, person gets in car, place car in Drive, doors lock and off I go. No Problem. One other thing, I have never really had to use the unlock button in the old system.
