I joined this forum back in August and placed an order for my 2SS/RS - 6M on Sept 1st. With a TPW of Sept 28, it was delivered on Oct 8th. Less than MSRP and in my garage in only 5 weeks…not bad GM.

The initial cosmetic modifications of painted stripes and engine cover are now complete. To be a little different, I had the stripes done in metallic silver…plus they kinda go with the light gray leather seat inserts. Also, I exchanged the factory painted RS wheels for chrome ones at US Wheel.

It’s almost time to put her to bed for the winter and begin the engine mods, so I thought that I might share some photos.

My wife just walked by and said, “Why post those photos, isn’t it just another Camaro among the hundreds others on that site?” “Whaaat! Just another Camaro!” Geez!

The car was here for a week before she got around to driving it. Seven freaking days! She’s a lawyer and she likes cars, but she just doesn’t understand what THIS car means to me…..but, of course you and I understand, don’t we?

Congrats! I like the red car cover. It looks like one of the ones made from Lycra.

The color difference on the stripes between the top pics and the middle pics is cool

I have yet to see "just another Camaro"
Not even close to being tired of looking at these cars.

Explain to your wife we love to see all pics..in fact when im not driving in the camaro and im on the road im always looking for someone elses camaro..theres just something about seeing one on the road that makes ya smile..

Color combo of stripes with red looks great, good call !
Engine cover is very clean and great job there too.
Put a CAI on and maybe that little growl will get her more excited about the car.
