Always appreciate the nice comments guys! Thank you Pierre!
Here's a sweet shot. Check out the water drops on the car.....detail! You can also see "Chantilly Lace" the RJT SS and Audrey's 2010 ZL575 with 21 miles on it in the background. #keepinitreal One of our good locals took the shot. (Credit: Lou) Thanks Brotha! |

Selected as winner for the #3 Oshawa Print!!!
Pretty amped up this week.....looks like we were randomly selected for the #3 Print of the Oshawa Homecoming Signed Litho.
Print #1 was won by the Ligenfelters who sold on Ebay for donations to the MAKE A WISH CHARITY and #2 was given out on a ZL1 Forum. Can't even express how excited and humbled we are to be a part of such an incredible community. We've made so many friends for a lifetime just through owning the Camaros that we have over the last 16 years. I know some of ya follow us on Facebook and heard about this earlier this week and we thought it would be great to share it with our Camaro5 friends and family as well! Thanks everybody for the awesomeness and camaraderie!!! Ivan @ Southwest Speed |

It's a factory ZL1 fascia and grille. I wanted to stray away from the definite ZL1 look by painting the entire fascia and fog trims the body color, leaving only the horizontal pieces the argent/matte color.....to keep it looking "almost" like it did before and like it is a true inserted grille instead of a formed together one. The ZL1 grille itself was an afterthought. I was planning on keeping the Heritage Grille in the car but when my parts guy mistakenly ordered it, I figured we'd use it and see if we could make it different. I had seen a guy take a Rally Yellow one and a Synergy Green one doing something similar. But I just wanted to highlight the raised areas of it. I'm still on the fence about the ZL1 grille but so far it's a one of a kind so I'll leave it for now. Might have to go back to the Heritage with a Emblem one day....who knows. Thanks again and appreciate the questions man! Ivan |
