I feel that we are programed to WANT kids, it is our genetic code to reproduce. but also for the selfish reasoning of "wanting" something that needs us to live, thus we feel a sense of purpose and watching them grow and achieve things gives us another sense of accomplishment.

that being said. I want a few kids when I hit 32-35. I'm getting tired of taking out the trash
I'm 38 and have no problem taking out my own trash...... Then again my community has automated trash cans so I just throw my trash in the can as I go then just wheel the can to the curb on trash night.

Kids are fun to play with but even more fun to give them back to their parents lol!

True freedom is when you can plug in your guitar amp at 3 in the morning on a Tuesday and jam for an hour.

Man, that's crazy. It must be cool living there though. I've always disliked huge cities, but when I see pictures or videos of them...they always intrigue me. I don't know what I'd do without at least a 2 car garage. I mean, I guess I'd park outside...but yea.

What's funny about that comment is that the median nationwide HOUSEHOLD income is 53k. So you, by yourself, already make more than 50% of the households in the USA.
LoL. Good point. I was more-so saying it in regards to what everyone else posted.

Sometimes I feel like saying how much I make, because I worked my ass off and even enlisted in the Army to get to college then to med school and a good residency. But I hate when some of my friends do it to impress women. A couple of my friends drive some sweet cars like Jag F-type Rs and various 911's. But one of the richest guys I personally know is a really successful OBGYN doc and so is his wife. They drive crappy old Civics. They invest all their money. You never can tell by the car you drive.

Yep, my dad did business with a guy that owned his own Lear jet and had a personal pilot that allowed him to visit his different businesses nationwide, he drove a 5 year old chevy 1500 pick up, dressed in levis, worn out work boots and a tee shirt. His wife worked her ass off every day and they were in the 70's.

Anyone can have a car payment. It's all about how you live and what you value. I budget extremely well and because of that and a good down payment I can reward myself. I also don't have that far to go to work and am a huge homebody. All these factors make it relatively easy to justify my SS purchase and be just fine.

I feel like these new cars are cheap, I just sold a classic car and that was really expensive to take care of lots of work just made this new car seem like such a bargain
