I'm just busting balls. The fact of the matter is more Autos are sold then manuals so obviously it's personal preference and the most popular preference is Auto. With that being said I am married and I taught my wife how to drive stick on my 2006 Mitsubishi Evo with 400 HP to all 4 wheels. But in your defense she does prefer her auto Toyota Highlander soccer mom car

She thinks my Hurst Short throw shifter is to hard to shift. I'm just messing with you guys so don't rack your brains coming up with more hurtful words to call me. We all have nice cars and are in the same Camaro family (with the exception of SUKX he has a cobalt). Don't worry I still love you guys.

It would be easy for you to figure out if you look at the modded fast list of all F-body, Corvette, and Mustangs. No manual trans car is going to run with a properlly stalled auto, mod for mod at the 1/4 track, period. Why do you think their is a auto conversion for the ZO6 and Cobra? I bought this car to go fast, not be worried about what others think of me. I am sure most auto owners who plan to mod their ride feel the same way.

Like the people who have autos never had standards before..
Bottom line, end of discussion is it gets old shifting after a while and the paddles are more then adequate to fulfill the thrill factor.

"Around" 500 RWHP is no joke and plenty for most people with a street car.

As you have probably found out,either auto or stick,you got to be on your game when you mash the go pedal...

I know on my manual if I try to shift to fast it will grind.

my car if racing someone with the same mods, I would get my ass kicked by a auto transmission. Buy I love shifting my own gears for cruising around.
