Carbon fiber DIY kit

I am gonna attempt to try and wrap a few things in carbon fiber, and was wondering what is the best type of DIY kit to get? And where to find one? Also, any tips? I've read through a ton of DIY threads, so I have a decent idea on how to do it, but any tips/advice are appreciated!

eBay carbon fiber vinyl and use soapy water and a blow dryer for stretching it out well around corners
(At least that's how I went about it)

If you are wanting real CF you can get a skinning kit.

I am thinking about getting this kit:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carbon-Fiber...item5aec1d3d67

Form the looks of it, it seems as if it's real CF fabric.

One question though, What is the difference between plain weave and 2X2 twill weave?

The weave refers to the pattern. Basically how tightly packed the fibers are.

Ok, thanks guys! So what would be the best option for a first time DIY job, a 2X2 or plain weave?

Whatever's cheaper in all honesty, because more than likely you're going to screw up your first few attempts. I know I did at least. And it's better to mess up with the cheap stuff than something were afterwards you're just like "shit, there goes $60 bucks of material."
