Not that bad. Just leave it like that as a remembrance from your favorite Uncle.

Try some over the counter products first like scratchX with turtle wax ice. I don't see a dent so no way i would send it to a shop. If that doesn't work i would try some of the professional products like Adams next. The worse case scenario would be going to the dealership to get touch up paint if it cant be buffed out.If you want to educate yourself on detailing read the Junkmans posts in the detail section of the forums here he's awesome. Not a big deal honestly. Just remember its just a car your uncle did it by mistake cut him some slack. You will laugh it off one day with him.

Tell your uncle that its not a big deal , try to fix it yourself , with some products readly available
Don't sweat it , it can be easily done , from what I can see in the pictures And next time remind your uncle that the beers are on him . |

Take the car and have it buffed out, all those swirls will come out and most of what your uncle did. (Assuming you don't know how to) Be nice and let him off the hook.

Sometimes Dry Ice will draw a dent out.
place a dry washcloth on the dented area, place sufficient dry ice to the area, let it freeze then warm normally. I've seen this done with Hailstone damage with great results. Won't fix your paint though.

Try just rubbing it out to make sure that it's just not scuffed. It the paint is chipped just apply a little touch-up to it or try one of those scratch-remover products you see on TV.
Do not take it anywhere to be painted. It will cost you money and they will do a shitty job of it. You know they will. Wait until you have an accident with your car or you get more damage to that side and then get it fixed under your insurance instead. Most importantly, let your uncle off the hook. It's just an accident, and its just a car. He feels guilty already. Buy the man a beer for crissakes.... |

Shadowpuppet,
if you are not comfortable doing what is suggested above yourself. You may want to speak to someone at autobahn auto salon in vaughan. They are a professional detailing shop that some other camaro owners have utilized. They might be able to help,if not then good body shop, but I would start with speaking to an auto detailer to see if anything can be done as this would be the less expensive option |
