First world problems (lowered car)
Soooo my car is lowered on eibach springs, and is even lower than normal because I went with 19 inch wheels with 30 profile tires , I lost another 2+ inches of height by switching wheels.
My question is how do people who's cars are lowered even more than mine handle day to day driving? Speed-bumps are a non issue when I go slow, but I find that I often bottom out on driveways with a steep incline followed by a decline. Car bottoms out in the middle, taking it on an angle when possible seams to alleviate the problem, but that's not always possible. Any tips ? Would coilovers help ? or is the problem strictly ground clearance ?

I would get some coilovers since you can adjust the ride height. I know they're expensive but that's the only solution I see with the tires you have now.
The good news is your car looks great! At least you're not as low as this guy:

The thing with the coilovers is that if you rise the height your fender gap will increase .

Angles are your only solution and you'll just have to avoid some approaches. We have some serious gutters and inclines here in SLC due to our runoff each year. It just takes some practice, patience and a whole lot of 3 wheelin' to get around sometimes.
You may want to consider getting some taller tires for DD. It will fill the wheel well better, raise the car a bit and look better all around IMO. Best regards, Tyler 888-308-6007 |

Yeah , guess I will just be super careful for the time being and move up to higher profile tires ASAP. I really love the current stance , but it comes with the added clearance problems. It sure looks purdy though ... thanks for all the input.
I can't imagine what some of the low rider cars I see around go through... that's really gotta suck !

Yes it's lowered 1-1.4 on eibachs. Since the diameter of the wheels are so much smaller than the 21's it originally had on, it doesn't look lowered because of the space in the wheel wells...
Here she is with the 21's and lowered With the smaller diameter wheels , the wheel wells aren't as full , but the car is a lot lower , close to 2 inches I'm thinking. I think the 21's are perfect for this car, but damn those tires were ridiculously expensive.

I have the same exact issues. I have a 35 series on my 19s in front, a 30 series in the back. The handling is so much better with the 19s, I am doing everything I can to keep from having to raise the car back up, as a taller tire isn't really available, other than switching to a 325/30 in the back from the current 305/30. There are a few low hanging objects under the car that I am going to modify for better clearance, i.e. crossbraces. I also switched back to a 2.5 inch exhaust, and am shopping for headers based on ground clearance.
