What's the best type of headers to get with the Borla atak

I have a Borla atak catback system and was wondering which set of headers would be the best I would be wanting long tubes and also a bother question do the headers void the warranty and are the Borla headers good?

well people will say that you can run LTs without a tune, but you will have a check engine light come on, and the dealership will have a problem with this. it only makes sense.

you should get a tune to make the car run good with huge gains, and take care of the codes.. that could void your warranty. but its not 100% your going to void your power train warranty. its all about the dealership.

i would get kooks, or ARH headers

spot on about dealerships and tunes. I would also recommend the ARH systems. let us know if you have any other questions or would like to order!

I personally run ARH headers but Kooks are another good choice. Headers would possibly be a sticking point with your dealer. Borla headers are off road type only and do not have cats. In order for you to not have a check engine light on all the time you would need to tune the ECM for the headers with out cats and turn the rear O2 sensors off, that will most definitly void your warranty. Even if you put headers on WITH cats most likely the CEL will come on and ECM would need a tune. Headers with an ECM tune are well worth the money.

I have Kooks 1 7/8" LT catted headers and a Borla Touring exhaust. I'm very happy with this set up. I don't want mine as loud as the ATAK with headers. Headers add a lot of sound all by themselves. So, I got the Borla Touring exhaust.

Your Choice of Headers is absolutely unaffected by your choice of Mufflers.

Pretty Much All 1 7/8 Headers are going to produce the same power and sound.

Stainlessworks and Dynatech, are another Great choice.

We are Running a 10% off sale until Dec 31 on Stainless Works which is listed on our site.

Ted.

NoynuR, go to exhaust section of forum and look for the sticky of exhaust sounds. You could also search camarofreak71 on YouTube and hear my sound clips of the ATAK with stock manifolds and with the headers. Let me know what you think.

Most of our customers run 1-7/8 Inch ARH Headers with high flow cats. Very nice gains in power, and these headers are stainless steel finish. We are currently running a sale on ARH headers. Take a look http://www.************.com/amrahefor20c.html
