I snagged 10 red tickets from courtesy, looks like i wont be having as many family members going now, so i'll have atleast 3-4 to share if anyone needs one.

Well it seems that I now have to make another trip to San Diego for a test at Balboa on friday. So I am going to surprise my daughter and hang around until saturday and meet up with you guys at the Information Center off of I-5.

Scott...you bet we have, and thanks to you and Tim for picking up more RED Military FREE tickets...we now collectively have 17! How many of those going will be bringing their active-duty or retired Military ID? Does anyone have a fake Military ID that I can use ("Door Gunner" works for me)? Just for the SD Auto Show of course!

UPDATED / SIMPLIFIED CRUISE INFO:
The plan is to cruise together and arrive at the Parking Structure attached to the north side of the Hilton Hotel - on east side the Convention Center - by the 10:00 am opening time of the show! I have 20 $2 off discount coupons we can use...with the FREE civilian and FREE military tixs we have, I will kick-in $5/head for any more tixs we need. There are at least 4 Camaros from CCSD joining in, 1 Dodge Charger (yes, at my invitation), as well as those who don't sign up, preferring to "stealth" into the pack.

Here are the two "authorized" cruise routes, meet at 9:00 am and leave for Downtown at 09:30 am:

From NORTH / EAST:
1. Mission Bay -> SD Convention Center Cruise (20 minutes)

From SOUTH:
3. Starbucks @28th Street & I-5 -> Convention Center Cruise (17 minutes)

From WEST:
NO boats allowed, this is a land cruise!

The 2 groups link up on PCH just south of the Sassafras exit for the last 3 miles of the cruise. No matter what unforeseens happen, everyone meets on the top of the parking structure by 10:00 am! I will run the Mission Bay -> SD Convention Center route this Thursday to make sure there are no issues, and to make sure there is a good spot to hook up on PCH by the Sassafras exit.

I still have the BLUE "Employee Pass" from Jack Powell Dodge...good news = it is good for TWO Adults...bad news = only valid for Thursday and Friday, December 29th - 30th! Just says "Proof of Employment may be required"...no mention of WHERE one needs to be employed...

The first person who sends me their mailing address to go Thursday or Friday, gets this bad boy blue ticket!

I still plan on going but depends on whether I get the car back together or not. Might need to bum a ride if it is still on jack stands! Wasn't able to get to the dealership for free entry for military either so if anyone has an extra ticket let me know. Thanks.

I think we are fine on the RED Military FREE passes...Tim probably has a few leftover even after allocating 1 for Rob (who moved from a "Maybe" to a "Yes" for the 31st!), and I have 2 RED passes as well!

How about meeting up at the parking lot at the corner of W. Hawthorne St and PCH? I think it belongs to the County Admin Center, so it should be empty on Saturday. Looks like both routes go by the parking lot and it has an entrance/exit driveway right off of PCH heading south.
