14 camaro steering wheel whine

Hey guys some advise I took the car to the dealership and they stayed they lubricated the boot on the steering wheel however, when I drive and turn it slowly or have the radio down it has some kinda whine noise very subtle and whenever you just sit there idle move it left and right you can just here it's like rubbing 2 things together..

Anywho, it doesn't impact driving as I'm awareness of..

Should I take it back to dealer and I also, need to ask why they added 18 miles and yet it's not fixed..

Think I should be worried or as long as it doesn't impact the driving?

Do you think we should be worried or I should go back again and replicate it? You can mainly hear it like coming from the actually steering wheel like inside the chevy logo. I turn with no problem but still sounds like a slight whine like if plastic/rubber

sorry to bump a dead thread, but on two cars ive owned that had the issue (both mopar), the problem was the clock spring which does sound like its coming from behind the logo. it only inches behind...wonder what they actually did replace at the dealer. most of the time the first fix will be graphite lube...

There were many suggestions here in Camaro5.com as to this reported steering wheel wine the OP mentions.

Below is a thread that correctly identified the noise my 2010 SS/RS was making. You can read down to post #11 which defines what part my dealer replaced and fixed the problem once and for all.
