SO.. I waved at 5 Camaros driving back from lunch yesterday.. and not one waved back lol.
I think the drivers need to be real car guys? I see a sweet ride while driving and I look at it, I guess if you'r not into cars then you just don't look and you have tunnel vision.

Around where I live, I'm too busy dodging potholes to look at approaching cars...
I figure most everybody else is either texting or doing the same, so it doesn't bother me too much.

I have owned camaro's for the last 20 years and I can't ever remember waiving or being waved at usually it's a nod or you say nice car to each other. This past weekend I took my new corvette for a ride and seen 2 other c7s both waived at me and caught me off guard. Being a first time vette owner I didn't know there was a wave involved with the purchase of this car I may have to trade it in soon I don't wanna feel like I'm in a parade while driving lol jk

HAHA true, even a small divot in the road feels huge in a Camaro

I have owned 18 vehicles in my life and I typically wave, nod or give acknowledgement to every alike model I drive. Whether I'm taking my cruiser motorcycle out for a spin, a weekend Jeep drive in the mountains, wife's Mustang, my SS/RS on a cruise or a day out fishing on our River Jet boat, I always give a friendly notice gesture. Every alike vehicle generously responds back with one exception... fellow Camaro drivers.
Up here in Northern Calif, less than 10% wave back. I get more Challenger and Charger folks waving than other Camaro5 drivers.
Yesterday on my drive home from work, I waved at an Inferno Orange C5 with white stripes because it sure looked cool... the woman driver never even looked over at me.
Always wonder why? Too stuck-up? Maybe they don't appreciate the art of muscle car ownership?
Back in the 70s, I drove a Chevelle SS and life revolved around hot-rods. Fast cars and freedom was a lifestyle. Today, that seemed to have disappeared.

I think that today's instant communications technology seemed to have numbed the physical/mental senses from stimulation (now THAT is heavy man!). To much thinking goes into Faceb00k, Tw!tter, texting and emails... leaving little thought for personal interaction with fellow drivers. - Just my 2C

Too different worlds man lol I came from the Corvette side and everything is different. Even the forum isn't as active as the Corvette forum.

The future looks bleak.

Nice to see though, that a few cool drivers still remain.

We are a dying breed, a handful remain.

Our legacy shall never die.

Were some of them V6's? If they were, then they were not real Camaros according to some V8 guys in here.
