When I had mine replaced, I got to the dealership at 7:30am and I was back at work at 9:00am with the new insert installed.

Well a GM rep called me yesterday, and I was told that their tech team is still working on a solution for this issue. So hopefully I hear something this coming week.

for a fix.
I never expected that buying a new Camaro within the first five model years classified all of us as "early adopters."

The dash pleather was new for 2012 so problems with it would also be new and need new solutions....

After about a month the replacement piece got a small bubble right in the middle. And now the left side above the radio is coming loose. But actually it still looks better than the original piece when it went bad--for the moment, that is.

I'm not getting the 2nd one exchanged until hopefully there's news from GM about a solution to the problem.

Add mine to this list now as well. Just showed up recently (about 16000 miles or so). I'm not worried about it though, just another problem with this lemon. The new 2013 should be here soon...

After getting mine replaced I think the bubble would have been easier to live with than the scratches on the gauge lenses and the marring where they pried the trim piece out to replace the pleather. Mine had two bubbles. One in the center above the radio and one to the left of the radio. Maybe there is someone on this site that's having the same issue and also has some legal experience that could get a petition going?

My second insert is now bubbling. I think GM needs to address this.

Mine is doing it too. If I could do it all over again, I would not have bought either camaro if I had known I would be going through all of these issues.
