Supercharger on Convertible ?

On my wish list I would like to buy a 2011 convertible SS (if they make it) and then add engine modes, to up the hp to about 500 hp.

Can anyone see any potential problems doing this to a convertible frame or will GM make it strong enough?

Any thoughts?

I can't see that being a problem in the Camaro if Fraud can do it with the GT 500.

I have no problems. With the convertible, we have an extra tunnel brace.

You could step up to a 2013 ZL1 convertible. Everything is done for you from the factory. Supercharged and 580bhp.

I just wish the E-Force would fit under the stock strut tower brace.
