Man...I'm getting hungry....lol

and sleepy too...I need some coffee.....

The indention is on the outermost lip of the ZL wheel...basically the orange painted part is indented into the wheel ever so slightly. But, in that picture, the orange strip is much narrower than the blue stripe in the photoshopped pic that I put up. do you all think that thickness of stripe is sufficient? Or, none at all? Or, do you think the stripe should just be painted over with CGM?

God, I want to widen! Someone give me some MONEY!!!

I figure I'm going to get the ZL wheel shipped tomorrow and have them paint them CGM for sure. The outer ring...I have no freakin' clue. It's going to come painted orange, but I HAVE to do something about that. I DO NOT want ORANGE on my wheel.....it goes with NOTHING on my car.

So, what do I do?

Paint that outer ring that is already orange Cyber gray metallic? Do I paint it Silver Ice metallic? Do I paint it blue? If I go CGM, will that be too dark as the CGM ring will be right up against the wheel and the black wheel might drown it out? If I paint it SIM, will the SIM clash with the already bright polished spokes? If I paint it blue, will it be toooo gaudy and stand out too much?

I hate these decisions!!!

Paint the ring CGM, paint the inside of the spokes SIM and the outline of the spokes CGM.

ok, thin pinstripe blue. and maybe small rings around the lug nuts blue.

Otherwise paint the pinstripe SIM and it's done imho.

I bought a set of the blemished ZL wheels which we are going to paint. (no ZL caps are being sent w/ the wheel...FYI for those that really want them, they won't sell them...for SLP cars ONLY). I'm pretty lucky getting the "blem" wheels....love the look...and with the paint we are going to do, should REALLY stand out!
