Awesome pictures.

GM frustrates me. People ask and ask for a perfect medium blue metallic, they dont deliver, dont deliver, they tease with 1 specific model in the Hot Wheels and then tease with the blue ZL1 pace cars. This color is stunning, please offer it on production models.

I wish I could get those chrome rims from the blue zl1. Those are nice.

fwiw - I think those two cars were repainted post production. At least the one I checked out reported back as built with Victory Red.

btw - ACE5 members got hot laps in these and the Red 1LEs at the Grand Am Road Atlanta race this April with pro drivers like Wayne Taylor at the wheel.
They are some fine machines.

A company named Factory Reproductions is now selling very similar wheels (10 spoke) in different finishes. They have a thread going on Camaro5 Wheels and Tires forum.

Thanks for posting those terrific pictures !

I don't understand why GM keeps having these cars painted that fantastic blue with those polished 10 spoke wheels shown so much when we can't have either of them.

Also the new Chevy SS that was shown in that same blue so often.....you can't order one of those in that blue either
