LOL. They are more excited then me about my car. I really wonder if they stay up til 3:30am everyday watching camaro vids, looking at pics and chatting with people on here...NO.

Went behind dealers back and called 1800 number. My car WILL BE IN NO LATER THEN 4/23 says GM. Gotta love that.

I'm hoping its sooner thought because I want to take it with me on a trip on the 17th up to N.J.

Sadly the dealer really let me down today. After laughing at me (surely felt like in my face type laughter) about the fact I thought shed be too busy too call me today, she actually faked on me.

I am sure that calling me back was not top priority but if you laugh at someone because they thought you'd let them down, then let them down, is just bad.

They are gonna get an email from me. Not that it will do much, but at least I can let them know that i'm unhappy with the way I was treated. Again there are bigger problems out there, but after waiting this long and for what i'm paying, they can follow through.

Question though. She told me that not only would she let me know, but shes going to mass email everyone who has come into the dealership so they know they will have one. To me this sounded bad. I don't really want a ton of people there when I pick it up, then following me as i drive slowly on the highway home(as to not go to hard on the new car.)

Maybe i'm just being paranoid, but I wanted to see how others might feel on it.

You will be like a rock star but we are talking about a few of those folks that are not Camaro enthusiast are car enthusiast. 2 maybe it will not be that bad? although it could be the delearship sending mass e mails to a lot of people they have on there e mail list that would be bad if your car is the first Camaro even if it is the 2 or 3. I'm sure the delearship is doing that to just get people through the door and me for one would not like that at all.

Just make sure if there is damage done at the delearship that you get something in writing to get it fixed. I'm sure you will go over it with a fine tooth comb, i mean looking at it close. Don't get into a rush to get it outa there. If that delearship is any good they will have a checklist to go over the car with you so that you YOU not them can say HAY that needs to be fixed, like a dent, paint chips.

I know I am a newbie on here but here goes...I just have to share! I called my dealer last Wednesday about my order explaining how impatient I was and he told me to continue to be patient..blah blah blah same old story. BUT... he said he is getting 3 units early next week but they are not his units....good news he's going to call me immediately when they come in so I can take a look at them...hopefully this will ease some of the jitters and impatience I am feeling. I have never been this excited before. So maybe one of these 3 units is one of the pre orders out there in our area.

That is a real bummer. Can you do some CPR and keep it going another couple of months or borrow something from a family member?

Yeah its going in for surgery tomorrow ill see what I can do, I think it may need a heart transplant (new carb haha) but yeah I still have a avalanche but I don't like driving it daily as its the 2500 8.1L engine and its homicidal on gas haha.
