it all depends on how crazy you want to get with it, your looking a 7-8K just for the kit at say 10psi any more than that(and this is only a guess) and your gonna need a clutch, new fuel system, a tune, some good tires, gauges, turbo timer, boost controller, pistons, metal head gaskets, ect. ect. ect. the list will go on forever the more you boost it, if you want to keep it at 10psi you should only need tires, a clutch, and some fuel parts the kit should have the rest but its like crack your gonna want more and more i had a turbo civic and it wend from 7psi to 13psi.......then BOOM!!!!!!.......after doing that a few times you start looking at stronger motors......the nice thing about the honda was i was getting motors for 400 and could install it in a few hours.....i dont think you wanna try this with the camaro

Don't bother - in 2 or 3 years, you'll be able to buy a TT camaro from GM so keep the miles low on your car to get good trade-in $$$:

lol alright i will deff take your word for it. Hylton had a good idea tho... i can just wait and trade in for a twin turbo production model. but the only problem with that is i wud probably wouldnt get a lot for trade in value and then i wud have to spend another like 8-10 just to get it.

Yes but financially, you would be farther ahead than if you twin turbo'd your current car. Do a quick add up of the cost and then figure out what your car will be worth. No dealer would go near it on a trade-in and people usually don't pay for whatever custom work you've done to it.

nope i had a single cam turbo civic that ran high 12's and when i went to trade it in they offered me 3,000 for it.....sold it to some guy for 8,000 still not even close to what i had in it......if you never want to sell your car go nuts, if not just trade it in when a tt comes out

Enjoy the car for now. Keep it stock and in good shape and then when the turbo model comes out, trade it in. The current V6 in the camaro is not exactly designed for turbos or superchargers anyways.

And the compression is like 1,000,000:1. BTW it's crazy we can run 87 octane with that compression ratio (actually something like 11:1 I think)
