Carbon Fiber Doors, Trunk Lid, and Polycarbonate door windows
We are doing some spring cleaning and are looking to make some space. We have Seibon Carbon Fiber Doors and Trunk Lid and brand new never used polycarbonate door windows from Five Star Race Car Bodies for sale.
We had the Carbon fiber doors on our PROVEN1 Camaro, but swapped back to our factory doors since we still drive the car on the street and wanted working windows, etc. They still have some of the vinyl decals but some of them are coming off. There are a few chips in the paint on the front leading door edges. These would be a great addition for a drag car looking to cut a lot of weight. These will shave 50lbs per door! We would recommend that you have door bars on any car these are going on. These required a ton of work to get all the factory trim and working handles to work and according to Seibon they were the first to have functional door handles. These have been painted inferno orange with a number square left bare carbon. The entire door is then clear coated several times. These are in like new condition. The doors retail for $3000 plus shipping, but we'll let them go for $1000 shipped. The trunk lid has been mounted once and is in like new condition. Retail is $840 plus shipping, but we will sell for $500 shipped. As with most fiberglass/carbon parts these should be installed by a body shop that is familiar with these materials since they may need to be adjusted to fit correctly. The door windows would be a great addition to the carbon doors. These are brand new 3/16" thick CNC cut polycarbonate from Five Star Race Bodies and retail for $274. Will sell for $200 shipped. Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks. |

Seibon left out some of the mounts for the window motor so as is there is no way to outfit the doors with the window hardware as is. One could add the mounts and stiffen it up but not without some work. That is why we originally got the polycarbonate windows. |

I wont be able to weigh them again until this weekend but if I remember correctly there is a significant weight savings around 17lbs. The asking price is $500 shipped. Let me know if you have any other questions.
