I have sold several of my brackets to NY residents... I highly doubt a cop would measure how high your license plate is off the ground... Just for kicks and I went out and measured the one on my car, and it's 9.5" from the ground to the bottom of the plate... I think the v6 bracket I make would probably come in at 12"+ but I don't have the mule car here in front of me to measure.

I'd rather have it on there, and be lower than it's supposed to be, than not on there at all :P

jason, i just got ur bracket.. didnt open it yet coz last weekend was so busy. anyways, im so excited. my TPW is 7/18 and im getting one of the firsts of the 2012s camaros. and ur bracket is gonna be there

Had several Vettes when I lived in NY and never installed a front plate. Sometimes a cop would appreciate the fact and let me go... sometimes I would get a ticket. Nice now that I live in SC where it's a one plate state!

NJ stinks also. I have the hideaway from swift motors attached under the gfx and no issues

yea i have the same thing, though i always leave my plate tucked under the bumper and if i get pulled over for it i just explain that i must of forgotten to put it back up after a car show....works like a charm.

I kept telling my salesman over and over not to put the front bracket on, then I ran 2 months without a front plate until JacFab came out with the V6 model. Its on now and worth the wait. Hope NH doesn't have or at least doesn't enforce that 12" law like NY!
