definatly gonna supercharge it, not sure what brand thoguh yet, i have a procharger on my truck, was a factory kit and i had some minor grips with it, just fit and finish and i think the idler pulley that came with it is going out and its only at around 10k miles on it.

i've looked as magnusun and procharger but its still so early they dont have anything to say about them that i can find, just gonna wait and see what comes out and gets good reviews.

I really want to supercharge mine, but I'm not sure if I will do it right away.
If I can get one dealer installed that won't void the warranty, I will try and work it into the purchase and sale agreement. Otherwise I will wait until the warranty expires. I'd like to get a Magnuson.

Pro Charger P-1SC for me and a dyno tune. Will give about 40-45% more HP at the wheels w/o damaging the rear or 2 pc DS from what I've read on the corvette and LS1 forums. ")

I'm leaning more toward a TVS from Mag' or possible a Whipple. I know that Whipple goes up to something like a 2.8L but Mag' with the TVS only up to 2.3L. I've read and seen many Procharger systems and like them too, but I like the more traditional looks of a roots/screw-type supercharger. If I fits under a G8's hood I think it'll fit under our Camaro too

Turbos are a good alternative, I just lean more toward supercharging for packaging and controlability.

i think im gonna stay naturally aspirated. Big cam, headers, intake, tune. I like the whine of a supercharger but i love the sound of a lumpy cam. If it isn't fast enough after the cam and boltons ill put it on a 100 shot of dope.

Although I prefer a turbo, I think a supercharger will be an easier, and a less complicated install. Def would consider a TVS, or another type of roots type S/C. Not a fan of the centrifugal S/C's...

Man I'm thinking about doin similar things except the nitrous. If the axle still holds up after the cam swap and the intake, exhust, new headers and all theres no way its holdin up against a 100 shot of NOS. I've been worried about this for like to months i started a thread and asked the peddlers guys in the suspension thread and their sayin the G8 is barley holdin up in the 500HP range. I really want a super charger and other nice bolt ons but i DONT want to have to replace that rear axle. Unless theres like a axle thats built exactly the same as the one on it now thats just much stronger.

Will GM performance parts offer a Supercharger? If so will the dealer install such a mod? How much do you think it will cost, with installation?

Yes GMPP will offer a supercharger. Most dealers would probobly be able to install it. And it will cost a shit load of money for everything.

Did I miss this? has this been confirmed by GM.

I mean, I agree/hope they will, but I hadn't seen anywhere that it was confirmed.
