That's hilarious, because I drive like an asshole a lot of the time, and I can't get a number worse than about 22 MPG.

I've hit 35 on long stretches of highway, with slightly overinflated tires too.

I've never had a car I couldn't beat the EPA rating on, and my Camaro is no different.

This is not real world guys. Again, What part of the exaggerated window sticker don't you guys understand ?
I did say average. I reset the meter every time I fill the tank, and that's what I get. Sometimes I check the calculation manually, and when I do it pretty much matches up with what the car says.

My commute is mostly highway, and of course I get lower when I have to do a lot of driving in traffic, or go downtown for something. But, even when I do those things my average for the tank is still over 22 MPG.

I'm sure GM will be in touch shortly. They will want to buy back your amazing SS for engine tear down and evaluation.

Maybe they will, but I doubt it. My mods help, I'm sure. But my driving habits help more.

Try getting a DashLogic from www.palmerperformance.com. You might learn some things about your car.

In downtown you're getting 22mpg? I call bullshit!
You need to have have GM recalibrate your DIC. I think it's down.

I said the average for my tank when I have to do a little traffic or downtown driving. The majority of my driving for the tank is still highway miles.

I don't understand why a few of you can't understand this.
