There's A Lot of Threads About Rough Idle..

Bouncy idle, unstable idle, needle shake, shakey idle.

Saw a bunch of threads when I was checking into this with my 2015 2SS Manual. Plenty of good comments, but no videos links that were still live.

Video captures the weak starter these are known for, a "rough idle", and general idle sound.

Lol, very misleading. No issues observed unless it was to lead us to the following video.

This is to show normal operation but have an example you can see and hear. Without knowing ahead of time I was suspicious of these things. Especially the starter. Will try the extra ground and see if that makes a difference.

Are you saying the miniscule movement of your tachometer is an issue? You do realize these are considered a performance car. There is a slight aggression in the cam profile. Never owned an LS powered car that had absolute steady tach. Hell, the tach in my F150 moves more than that.

When I was first looking into this there weren’t any good videos that would show what is normal. This shows “normal”. The slight shake in RPM, weak sounding exhaust, and the idle sound.
