Pull gently with needle nose. Start at one end and work your way across. Everyone 2-3 inches or so.

I didn't need needle nose pliers. Just take the top cover off, and push the mailslot out with your fingers. Not hard at all.

let me ask you guys something if i can get the mailslot out and dony have to cut it what do ihave to cut and were does the red wire go and the black wire go and how does the leds stay in place

Affirmative...remote is included!

All the Scanners come with a remote to control the on/off, pattern, and speed of the pattern.

The RGB (all colors) Version has another channel that allows for the selection of color as well.

Yes, it comes with the remote. I'll try and post a video for you. I just installed mine and it is now my favorite thing I have on my car. I go outside just to stand there and watch it. LOL. I absolutely love it. I have gotten hundreds of compliments on it already in the few days I've had it in. Another great thing is that it is totally visable during the day. It has soo many different sequences which you have total control of each one with color and speed. The price is unbeatable. The plug and play version by knightlight costs $250 and only has 2 colors. AAC's 22" V2.0 RGB Scanner is a no-brainer and worth every cent! Don't even think about it, just order it!

on the scanner. Got mine installed a couple weeks ago. A fairly easy install. I wasn't too keen on cutting into the mail slot but, eh whatever. I won't post pics or a video cuz there's plenty of those out. I just want to add my name to the list of satisfied customers. Good job AAC and a great price.
