That is sick and with better fuel economy!

I love camaros and GM, but in all honesty I think the ZL1 will have a hard time beating a GT500.

The magnetic suspension is nice, but you can get some quick times compromising ride quality without using the magnetic suspension.

And I know some don't care about fuel economy, but it's amazing you can avoid the gas guzzle tax with 660 hp.

New Shelby GT500 HP!!!!

http://www.0-60mag.com/news/2012/04/...-makes-662-hp/

If you didnt read the link it basically says that the 13 GT500 is putting down 662hp and 630lb-ft of torque

Also it says the GT500 hits 60mph in first gear, and will also get 24mpg

Whether these numbers are true or not is obviously still on the air till one gets on a dyno....but if its true how much will it cost and how will Chevy respond??

(I know these arent official numbers so relax)

It is sexy, I must say. Never been in a Mustang though. I just couldn't see myself switching from Camaro to Mustang.

"It was the tires...", say the failed Ford GT fans. Gee, for a $150K-car, you'da thunk they could have afforded some good skins...like the REAL supercars wore back then...like the Lambo, and the Porsche, and the Ferrari, and for God's sake even the VIPER had...you know, same Bat-time, same Bat-era...

The side-by-side comparisons were the very same years...no? Same tire bins to choose from...no?

"But she makes 662 hp!!!" Breathless, you are...from being STROKED into thinkin' that power, alone, and weight, alone, means EVERYTHING...

Go back and study the side-by-sides...same course, same years, same drivers...

Something doesn't add up. How can this be? Those turds @ CandDmust have it in for the Ford guys, right?!

Where ARE these long-overdue times...from ANYWHERE...for the ChiliWagon?

Next thing you know, Ol' Shel will talk Dearborn into resurrectin' the Ranger so he can put a convertible top on 'em and call 'em sumthin' special and the Ford Fanatics'll lap 'em up...w-i-d-e s-t-r-i-p-e-s MANDATORY...cuz after all it's a SHELBY!!! Sez so riiiiight THERE! And he signed the GLOVEBOX, too...wooHOOOOOO!!

All the power in the world doesn't mean a thing if you can't apply it to the pavement. If it can stick it will be amazing but traction is not one of the Mustang's strengths. Time will tell but GM will have to step it up regardless. The modern muscle wars just went nuclear.
