At that RPM I would fall asleep at the wheel with a huge bog! More like 3-4000 and feather it out, if your track is not prepped well then dial it back to 3000 rpms. My brother still has his 2000 TA with a lid, full exhaust, mail order tune, Auto trans.. when all I had was headers on my car I pulled his pretty hard. I also came from 2 4th gens myself, they dont have the topend like a ls3 camaro. But the 5th gens are much harder to launch!
