Make sure you get them to look at the body work underneath the car also, seperate claim but there is going to be damage from setting on blocks

I don't think so. I sold my 4 factory P/Zeros last year with about 5000 miles on them for $500.00.
Tires only- no wheels. They had about 6000 miles on them.

My stock wheels and tires currently live under the house... My Hurst wheels have the gorilla locks with the outside spinner that keeps you from hammering on an undersized socket.

Just to be clear, there are two types of Gorilla wheel locks. The original ones are easily beaten by hammering a smaller socket into it. Those are the ones that also come in 20/pack.

The Gorilla Guard wheel locks have a spinning sleeve, and are much harder to beat. Those only come in 4/pack.

On each wheel, I have 4 Gorilla original locks, and 1 Gorilla Guard lock. Some people go all Guards for the symmetry.

They also have Guard II, but those look like the original ones w/o the spinning sleeves.

Sorry to hear your news :-(

I have one GM and one Gorilla Lock Nut on each wheel. Overkill I know.

I think we could have our Wheels heavily engraved with our phone or post code or something to deter this and stop people buying them as any attempt to remove or fill such would be easily traceable.
I wouldn't mind having such history marking on my wheels, somewhere.

I'll bet it wasn't to a tire that is in the lower income neighborhoods where these were sold.

sorry to hear about your wheels. I'll bet my next pay check that the security guards are probably in with the retards that stole your rims.

take it from me, you'll never see those wheels again, even if you search the local body shops. Newark is a war zone, I'm a NJ State Trooper and I work in Newark.

my best advice to you is MOVE OUT OF NEWARK ASAP.
What he said!!! Newark is one of the most undesirable areas in NJ. High crime and murder rate. It's up there with Irvington, Camden and Trenton. It's unfortunate that this happened to you and hopefully your ins will take care of it. God knows NJ insurance rates are high as hell. Take advantage and inspect the entire care for other damage. Good luck with resolving this mess.
