Where can you get Nylon stop nuts? I always have a hard time find those.

For me this is not MAJOR - its a nuisance and a confirmation of what some people say to me that I have a screw loose though this time its a nut...

This is a MAJOR oversight by GM. A simple "sorry" from fbodfather does not suffice if you ask me.

I understand that there is no solution to this, I just dont see how such a MAJOR oversight happens on so many cars.
Always a little over the top

10620 had 1700 miles on her when I heard a clinking while cornering..then I washed her and felt spoiler loose drivers side. Made an appt at dealer and told me at least 2 days down time. I was like huh? Then after another 450 miles, 3 more were in the trunklid..No biggie. The only 2 secured (barely) were the two under the decklid cover. My friend Rob who works at a Chevy dealership took a magnetic telescoping tool and fished out all the nuts within 5 minutes, Loc-tite the nuts and reassembled..total time 20 minutes.

I didn't read the thread to see if you had stripes installed..If so, mine did the same thing.

Do NOT remove the decklid unless the dealer is doing the work..PLEASE! You are looking for trouble on a few avenues. The nuts can be EASILY retrieved with a telescoping magnet.

I just don't understand, you guy pay good $ for a new Camaro and have to do all this extra work to get that right that GM miss.

Longtime ago I ask a GM dealer why it cost so much for the freight charges to ship the car from East to West. He say is not only the delivery freight charge. They also include pre-order delivery inspection to make sure everything is right.

Wow, wonder what they doing just stand there and watch ?

Checked mine, the 4 outer bolts were all loose. Still need to check the 2 in the middle. VIN# 3879. Thanks for the heads up on this issue.

I parked mine on a pretty good incline... gave the trunk lid a couple good slams and out rolled the loose nut onto the ground.
