Factory dash ABL?
Didn't exactly know where to ask this.
I've seen all the pictures of the guys who figured out a way to add ABL to their dash. I really want to do this but I have got to believe Chevy didn't drill holes in the dash when they put the lighting in the pre-production models. Did they change the dash since then or did they have a better way of doing it? Who knows, the GM part that these guys are using might be for the doors and there's another part we don't know about for the dash. I'm waiting till we get a better idea from GM. If they offer it in newer models then we should be able to do it right. Guess it's not really a question unless anyone know more about the factory ABL installations.

GM never showed us a official picture of ABL on the dash. The picture everyone remembers was a computerized photo. . . Not a real one, thus we don't know how they did the dash ABL.
We have to assume they toyed with it because of the connectors that are behind the dash.

there were a couple shots of real cars with prototype ABL systems that included the dash lighting, but GM asked that they be removed
anyway, all we have to officially go on is what you've already seen
