any owners actually TRACK their ZL1 ?????

OK arm chair mag racers, who has actually tracked the ZL1 on here??
The boss forums have lots of die hard track rats
GT500 forums have die hard track rats

The C5 ZL1 forum have die hard mag racers who can tell everyone how great the car is. I`m talking about average Joe`s not sponsors and business that are in best interest to sell something from a test just average Joe? I use to race motorcycles and going on the track was one of the greatest rushes going. I would love to have a car that you can drive off showroom and hit it without spending $$$ unlike an SS.
Not hating just curious why?

Does autocross count? Here's the thread about me taking my ZL1 out this past Sunday: My Novice Autocross Experience

I'm going again July 8th and I have plans to take the car to Eagle Canyon Raceway and Motorsport Ranch in the next couple of weeks.

Going to VIR in November with the Audi Club. Great track with great instructors. I have been there 5 times with other vehicles and we always run the "full" course. It is a great venue and I invite other members to attend. They have numerous skill level groups green, yellow, blue, instructor groups (red/black) depending upon track experience. The dates are Nov. 10-11 (Sat-Sun). http://www.pcc-acna.org/index.php?op...temid=0&did=43

I don't have a ZL1 but I beat the hell outta my SS at the twistties and a little Drag and Autocross.

I feel sad that people buy ZL1's, Shelby's, etc.. and just keep them on the garage and just take them to shows. those cars are built and designed to run!! why keep them hiding?

I know for sure that if I had one it won't be hiding.

Don't have my zl1 yet. (Heck I'm not even back in the states yet.) But it will definitely see some tracks. 2 nice tracks in atlanta, one of them is brand new, another in savannah, and others in neighboring states.

I'm definitely not diehard. But you don't have to be diehard to have a ton of fun. The thing is you can track any car. You see guys in ford focus out there, dodge neons, and everything up to a ferrari.

I'm almost exactly 90 miles from Watkins Glen. I plan to track my ZL1 as often as I can next year. Had it just over 3 weeks and have driven almost 700 miles. Looking forward to alot of fun and learning to drive my car at it's limit then modding it and catching up again.

Love seeing the video and hearing about people heading to the track with their ZL1's. Keep it up!
