I was under the impression that the Trunk Mat had "Camaro" embroidered into it, but I have seen the trunk of 2 Camaro's in person and they were blank, Do they not come like this?

I ordered and received a trunk mat through GM and it does have the Camaro name on the rear portion. The mat is heavy rubber so the name is not embroidered but is molded into the mat. The mat is black and the Camaro lettering white. It fits perfectly along the contours of the trunk floor.

Maybe the camaros you saw did not have trunk mats. I like the mats you can order from the chevy mall. You can specify different colors there along with different kinds of embroidery.

they are blank, I sent mine in to get embroidered this weekend, and the engine plastic cover, air box air tube and fuse lid chromed with airbrush details then clear coated pics forth coming.

hmmm, got mine couple of months ago and mine has "camaro" in white lettering on it

I think you are confusing it with a different item. You can't embroider these as they are thick industrial rubber.

I got mine about a month and a half ago +/-. I like it, but it doesn't cover up all the carpet like I thought it would. Btw, it weighs 16lbs.

I would like to see the weathertech one when it gets made.

That looks like it was altered..... The trim around the edge is missing at the rear. Mine goes 360 all the way around. Mine is a tight fit....you see no carpet.

The trunk mat you are thinking about is the rubber one that you can get seperately. It doesn't come from factory.

The trim does indeed go all the way around...it's just the angle of the pic that doesn't allow it to be seen. BUT what I find interesting is how yours doesn't show any carpet while mine does?

I ordered the GM Camaro trunk mat part # 92222441 from gmpartsdirect.com back in June - its still on national backorder from their perspective. List = $125, their price = $91.00 + shipping.
